The Memphis Police Department this afternoon identified the four adults who were found dead Monday evening at 722 Lester in Binghamton.

They are Cecil Dotson, 30; Hollis Seals, 33; Shindri Roberson, 20; and Marissa Rene Williams, 26. Two children who died and three more who were hospitalized still have not been named.

The families of the victims met again this morning with Keith Norman, pastor of First Baptist Church-Broad in Binghamton.

At that time Dotson's mother, Priscilla Shaw, said her family was not receiving any information beyond what was being reported by the news media.

And with the police providing few details, that had amounted to very little. Shaw said she was receiving no updates on the condition of the three hospitalized children; they remain at Le Bonheur Children's Medical Center, and two of them have been in extremely critical condition.

"I try not to look at the news because of what it does to see that over and over but then again, I think, maybe they did find out something," said Shaw.

This afternoon, Nicole Dotson, Cecil Dotson's sister, gave The Commercial Appeal the names of the five children, although she did not know who had survived. They are two Cecil Dotsons, ages 9 and 2; Cedric Dotson, 5; Cemarrio Dotson, 4; and a 2-month old girl, also a Dotson, but the aunt was uncertain about the spelling of her first name.

Shaw said Marissa Williams was a longtime live-in girlfriend of her son's and the mother of four of his children. Shaw said the family is grieving but wants the public to know there was another side to her son than the criminal record that includes assaults with a deadly weapon, one as recently as an aggravated robbery in January.

"I want people to understand there is another side to him," Shaw said. She said the family does not believe her son's past has any relevance to the crime.

Also earlier today, before Seals was identified, a member of his family told The Commercial Appeal he believed Seals, known to most everyone as Pete, was also a victim. Otis Mallry, who identified himself as Seals' first cousin, was among several family members who visited the crime scene late Tuesday.

Mallry said his family believes Dotson picked up Seals sometime late Saturday or early Sunday after Seals was released from a temporary stay in jail. Mallry said Dotson and his cousin were friends, but said he only knew that Seals had been "pulled over for something, I don't know what" late last week.

"When nobody heard from him for two days after he got out, we knew something wasn't right," Mallry said.
