Diddy had a meeting with the girls and decided that Aubrey(circled) was out because he "didn't have to take the way she was talking to him". Translation: This will teach everyone else not to stand up to me, and especially not to ask questions - particularly when it comes to money!
OK, here's what went down: Diddy had a meeting with the group, and all of a sudden, all of this "drama" with the group that had never been conveyed on camera just came out of nowhere (which continues to feed my suspicion that this shit is scripted). Never once did you see any friction between the girls, never one argument, never one eye roll... nothing. So, either these girls were very good at hiding their true feelings toward one another while the cameras were rolling... or the editors are some bad mamma jammas!
Back to the story - Diddy reveals that Aundrea had at one point sent him an email saying that she wanted out of the group, but when he asked her why, she stumbled, and tried to be politically correct in conveying her "love" for the ladies. Then he goes on to ask Aubrey why she wanted out at one point - but he didn't like what she had to say.
Honestly, I agreed with her. She said that the group had collectively decided that they had problems with management and the way things were being handled with them, particularly the fact that a rumor came from someone on his management team, that Diddy was working with Dawn on a solo project, and that had caused a lot of mistrust within the group.
Aubrey's issue was, if the group already has trust issues and it's tearing the group apart, it would just make sense that he ease their suspicions and calm their nerves about whether he was working with a particular member on a solo project - which would leave the future of the remaining girls, uncertain!
Diddy's point (in true Diddy fashion) was, "I don't have to tell you nothin!" Well, I understand what he's saying from a management perspective, but at the same time -if word around the "office" is that one of the secretaries is getting promoted to office manager while the others may very well end up jobless - somebody from HR would need to come in and shut shit down before things get out of hand and people start looking for jobs or walking out! It's a matter of respect.
Before it was all over, Diddy told Aubrey that he didn't want her in the group anymore and asked if anyone wanted to go with her... fade to black!

Um, am I the only one who has noticed that everybody Diddy has ever worked with has had problems with the money? This isn't new. I understand that these girls wanted to be famous and live out their dreams, but Diddy is an arrogant SOB. Nobody questions what he does, and if you do, later. Aundrea, trust me, you have talent, you'll be just a famous as a solo artist as you are with Danity Kane. And you better believe that he's working on a solo project with Dawn. Run while you can girl. They'll learn the hard way.
Doesn't BIG, Faith, 112, Craig Mack, Total, Mase (fill in your favorite Bad Boy Artist here)mean anything to you all?
And that stupid assed Aubrey shoulda known from jump that she was gonna get let go. All that sluttin around that she does.
I love DK but I think Diddy ain't doin them right. Why was he advertising his own upcoming CD on their show? Why's he always on there actin a fool? It should be The Diddy show featuring DK and Day26.
These groups were set up not to be too successful because then they wouldn't have time to be at Diddy's disposal.
It's just a matter of time before the rest of them split up. The groups produced by Diddy never last and are at best, mediocre!
The group is going to be really boring with out Aubrey, she's the only one who got a lil publicity.
It's probably scripted but who cares nobody will care about any of the acts once those cameras are gone. Diddy comes off scot free and people will believe it.
That little scenario right there is one of the main reasons I don't watch that show. I'm not big on reality TV because it all seems so fake. And DIDDY.....I don't even have any words for him.
