Dear Miss Pearl,
My brother has a baby by a girl in the neighborhood and this baby doesn't look anything like our family. Most of our family is very dark and all of the men in my family have a short baby finger and this little boy, who is 1 years old is very light like his mother and doesn't have the "finger".
I have told my brother that that isn't his baby, but he says it is and won't listen so it has caused a lot of drama in the family because my brother's girlfriend doesn't want the baby to come around us because I have told the family that it's not his kid.
My mom loves the baby, but even she said that he is "too light" just like his mother. We have VERY strong genes in my family and I know that this isn't my brother's kid. Should I get my mother to babysit the kid and figure out a way to get a DNA test since that seems to be the only way he will understand?

B*tch bye!! If your brother says that it's his baby, it's nobody elses responsibility to try to convince him otherwise! Why do you GIVE a $hit if the baby is his? Apparently he loves the baby and that's all that matters to him, so shut the hell up with your stupid assed reasoning for trying to make the baby NOT his.
It pisses me off that people want to point to their "strong genes" as to why a baby doesn't belong to them. Who the hell are you to determine what strong genes are, and what genetic studies have you conducted that told you that YOUR genes are any stronger than those of the other side of this babies family?
Girl, go sit your ignorant, strong gened, shawt fingered a$$ down somewhere and mind your own business! Stop causing drama where it's unnecessary. If your mother doesn't want anything to do with her "too light" grandchild and you think that he needs to be black and little fingered in order to be in your family, then stay the hell away, because I don't blame the baby mama for not wanting her child around you jackasses.

I know that's right. Sit cho ass down! My bro and his wife are both VERY light and their son came out brown and he's the only left handed kid in the clan.
And before you say it-yes they had DNA because they weren't married when he was born.
Also, if he believes it's his or wants to play faux baby daddy, that has nothing to do with yo ass. I wouldn't send my baby around ya negative ass either.

This broad is dumb as hell!!!! My sister is very light-skinned (she's Casper the friendly ghost for real), my mother was caramel and my father is purple blue black (black as hell...LOL)! I have four sisters and none of us are the same complexion! They call us the rainbow coalition! Who appointed her the authority of genetic makeup!! She is stupid and I see she gets her stupidity gene from her family!! I'm glad it skipped her brother! She doesn't need to warn her brother of anything! He's a grown man and if he accepts the child then there should be no discussion! Hell I can see if the mother was dark as well and the baby came out with blond hair and blue eyes. My dad is chocolate and my mom is very light and guess who's genes dominated me...my MOM'S! Everyone on my dad's side is dark.
I have some of my dad's sisters' features and I'm very glad my dad's family loved and accepted me when I was a baby even though I'm light like my mom.
