The NBA star revealed in a new French-language interview that his eye injury was much worse than he announced in a press conference the day after the June 14 music-industry melee.
He said additional testing in Paris found that a piece of glass had penetrated 99% of his left eye.
He was rushed into emergency eye surgery June 17 un and now must put five different products in his eye every two hours, according to the interview posted on his website. "I almost lost my eye," the San Antonio Spurs star added. "I just spent eight days trapped in my hotel. I was not allowed out to prevent infection. I was so afraid that I have not left my room."
Fear set in when he heard about the operation, along with hallucinations, he said.
"It is so fragile, an eye," he said. "I could not believe it."
He said the surgery prevented him from joining his French team for Olympics preparation last week.
Parker, the ex-hubby of "Desperate Housewives" vixen Eva Longoria, has filed a $20 million lawsuit against the Manhattan club where he was injured, claiming it didn't have enough security to handle the Rihanna-related "bad blood" between the Brown and Drake entourages.

Maybe he didn't realize how serious his injury was at first. I doubt this is about the Olympics; how about if he looses his eye his entire career is shot to hell!

ReplyDeleteWhy sue Chris or the club? You sue the person who threw the bottle... Drake, simple as that. You don't sue someone for protecting themselves. The club also has an adult only clientele. Drake obviously is no adult. He's getting used and played by Rihanna... and this is the wall he has to walk into in order to get the point that she doesn't want him and she's playing him so well.

RiRi is somewhere laughing at the two dumb Ass men arguing and fighting over her. From the chatter in the press lately it seems that RiRi has several issues in her life that is way bigger than this. From the crap that keep's coming up with Chris B. it seems like he has a lot of underlying anger. He seems troubled and so do RiRi. I hope that the people involved will step back and humble themselves enough to get it straightened out. I also hope that CB and RiRi will seek therapy for their personal demons. That would be separately of course .
