Antoine Dodson Says, "Damn the gays, I loves me a chicken sandwich from Chick-Fil-A! I can get married TO Other States!"

Antoine "Cigaweed Lips" Dodson ain't hardly mad at Chick-Fil-A for being against gay marriage because he says he's got better things to do. In fact, Toine says he has rights in America - he has the right to buy a house, to get married, to make money, to go anywhere he wants, etc.... I guess the thing he missed out on was the fact that he actually does have all those rights - he just doesn't have the right to get married.
SMH.

Here's my point, I don't expect everyone to agree with gay marriage, but the only way I would accept this from Antoine Dodson is if he said, "I am gay, but I'm conflicted. I love the Lord and I accept the bible as His Word, so for religious reasons, I don't support gay marriage. I'm a work in progress, I'm trying to get to righteousness, but I'm not perfect.. I'm not going to suggest that the Word change to fit society, instead, I'm going to suggest that society change to fit the Word - so, I can't support gay marriage."
What he said below makes absolutely no sense. But that's just me.
“I have uncles and aunties as well who does not approve of gay marriages and stuff like that, but they respect me,” vented the baddest bitch to ever tip the sidewalks of Huntsville, Alabama.

“I don’t care about one person’s opinion or how they feel — that’s fine. Chick-Fil-A makes good meals, and I eat there. If I want to have a Chick-Fil-A sandwich, guess what? I’m gonna have a Chick-Fil-A sandwich.”

  2. That's not all he said...he also said boycotting the restaurant doesn't hurt the CEO it hurts the actual employees that work there. I have never been to a Chick Fil A and been treated any other way but respectful and nice. No one I know gay or straight has been treated differently either. Everyone has the right to their own opinion and just because Dodson is gay doesn't mean he has to jump on the bandwagon. That's like saying cuz I'm black I should vote for Obama or supported Herman Cain. Boycotting this restaurant does nothing, its inaction at its laziest.

    1. Wrong, being black shouldn't mean you have to support Obama, being SUPPORTING someone who discriminates against you is all kinds of dumb.

If Walmart said they didn't support blacks, would you go there because they have good prices? Check ya bulb.

I totally agree with you. Unless I missed something, I really don't see anything wrong with what he said.

When I heard the Chick Fil-A stuff on the news today, I was floored. Mr. Cathy says he's a Christian, so of course his stance on gay marriage would line up with the word of God. Doesn't Mr. Cathy also have the right to speak his mind? Isn't it is duty as a Christian to not accept the things of this world? I get sick and tired of gay rights people flying off thr handle every time someone disagrees with their lifestyle. That dowsn't always mean that a person is against YOU or can't work/play well with you. It just means they don't agree with the choices you make. The gay rights people said they don't want Chick Fil-A in their town. . .well, what if the straight people and/or Christians said they didn't want gays in their town? People, we can coexist, even if we don''t agree with each other's choices.

I wonder if the gays who don't like Obama have moved out of the country (or told him to move out) because they don't like him. . .Baby, for all we know, MACY'S might hate gays, but I guess that doesn't count because it hasn't been publicized. My point is, you don't always know WHO is for you or against you. I'm sure we come in contact daily with people who dislike us for some reason. Move on!

AND he didn't say he didn't like gays, for the record. He disagrees with the lifestyle. Big difference!

But to me, being Black and being gay are two different things.

    4. @ Women's Lyb: Thank you! Ppl act like you can't have an opinion on gay marriage. Guarantee, Chick-Fil-A ain't gonna shut down behind it. I don't care who you're sleeping with behind closed doors, just don't tell me details and that's whether you're gay or straight.

  4. When are people going to realize that being gay is NOT a choice. Do you choose to be straight? Do you wake up every morning and decide? Give me a break.

Also, since when does Christianity say you should hate on me and deny me my rights just because I'm gay? Don't give me "the bible says..." because I'm a theologian. It also says not to masturbate, not have kids out of wedlock, and not to talk trash to your mother.

I pay my taxes just like you do. Probably more so because I don't have any deductions. I deserve to have every right that every other American has.

Antoine Dodson is an idiot. When he stops all his cooning and shuffling, I might listen to him. But as he is right now, he's an embarrassment. He's doing the Black and the gay community a disservice.
