Either Chrissy Brown's army is pointless because they "support" him on Twitter and online, but don't buy his music - or they're all 13 year old girls who would rather spend their hard earned cash buying Justin Beiber ring tones. Either way, Brown's record sales aren't giving up much by way of dollars and cents because his latest album, "Fortune" only sold 134,000 copies. It was #1, but didn't have much competition.
A decent number for Trey Songz, a phenomenal number for Lloyd, and an unattainable number for Ashanti, but for an artist with as much name recognition and star power as Chrissy B... not so much when your last album sold 273,000 copies. That's half the fanbase gone.
What does this mean? Is it the fact that fans keep trying to tell Usher, Chris and all these other black artist that they're simply not into this techno-pop bull doo doo and they're sending a clear message?
Remains to be seen.
