I'm not sure how much stock I'd put into this story, but apparently, Brett Favre is ready to make another return to football - but not in the capacity one would assume.
It's looks like the legendary quarterback is reportedly set to make his return as a high school coach.
Wouldn't this be something if it turns out to be true? You've made millions and millions of dollars, so, instead of getting a job commentating so you can bring in a few more million, you go to a high school to nurture the talent of teenagers because you've got more than enough money to last you a lifetime?
LOVE this story!
According to ESPN.com, the 42-year-old has taken an assistant high school coach at Oak Grove High School, near his home in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
His agent, Bus Cook, told the Associated Press that Favre will work at the high school this fall "to help out in some capacity, but I'm not sure exactly what his role will be."
Local papers said he's expected to serve as offensive coordinator. Apparently, he's helped Oak Grove, unofficially, in previous years.
Favre retired from the NFL in 2010. He has kept a low profile in Hattiesburg since he retired, rarely conducting interviews, but is occasionally seen at Southern Mississippi's football or baseball games.

Nice of him to give back to the community.
