When will these fools learn to appreciate their good fortune? Kenny Britt, the Tennessee Titans‘ star receiver, was cuffed Friday morning by the Fort Campbell Police Department in Kentucky for driving under the influence, TMZ reports.
Britt, who is recovering from two arthroscopic surgeries, was pulled over by law enforcement as he attempted to enter an army base. He was reportedly with a soldier at the time.
Officers administered a sobriety test to the 23-year-old and the results allegedly showed levels of intoxication. Police arrested Britt and charged him with a DUI after he reportedly refused to take breathalyzer test. They also impounded his red, tricked-out muscle car.
Britt has had a colorful legal past with arrests including a police car chase, resisting arrest, traffic warrants, driving without a license and failing to pay promised bail for a friend.
As a repeat offender of the NFL’s personal conduct policy, Britt could be facing suspension and the Titans would thereby be sans their number one receiver.
What I find interesting is that he was with a soldier...trying to get in an army base....maybe im just reading two much inbetween the lines....but it does make me go "hmmm"
