ABC News reports.
“He hit the door, backed up, and came back with full force again, and that’s when he came on in here,” Delcina Avery, who witnessed the crash from the parking lot, told ABC News affiliate WFAA-TV in Dallas.
Walker allegedly left his vehicle and began dressing himself in the store’s clothing. He even slipped on a pair of Air Jordan speakers. Cops eventually arrived at the scene and arrested Walker. Sgt. Elliott Forge of the Dallas Police Department returned the shoes to the store. Forge said that he kept Walker in the clothes he allegedly stole because it would not have been proper for him to leave the scene nude.
“My assessment is he wasn’t in his right mind,” Forge told a local Dallas TV station.
Police say Walker was involved in a domestic dispute in a home one mile away from the mall, but left the property naked for some reason. Before the mall incident, cops also said they received a call from a woman in a car saying a man in a red pickup truck approached her and ask her to exit her vehicle. The woman drove off instead.
Walker’s medical evaluation has not officially been released, but Sgt. Forge said he has an idea as to why he crashed his truck through a mall naked.
“Normally, when we deal with people that are … naked, they are usually under the influence of some kind of narcotic,” Forge said.
