@ Anon 12:13-I agree, now, while I can agree that the baby is "hanging low", I am sure that shortly after this pic was taken, the mother put down her bags and repositioned him. My husband's family is West African and my MIL showed me how to do this with my own babies. This is custom in many countries and was typical of slaves during the infancy of this country. If you go to any baby store, they have TONS of slings, wraps, and other items to emulate this very thing...*dropsmicandstepsdownoffsoapbox*
How can anyone say anything negative about this picture. Auntie Pearl, I have been with you for a long time now. I used to think that you were comparable to one of my own aunties or ladies from the church who had no problem telling you exactly what was on their mind whether you liked it or not, but lately...I'm not sure what's going on.
