It's Official! The New American Idol Judges Are...

Baby, I'm so over American Idol... actually, I take that back. I've been over American Idol since the Fantasia season, so I'm really just writing this story for my readers who watch the show. I'ma go 'head and quit pretending that I watch this show.

I been quit.

Anyway, take a gather at the new judges for the new season of American Idol. Ryan, of course, is the host, but the others will be sitting at the judges table.

Nicki Minaj, Randy Jackson, Keith Urban and Mariah Carey.

    Regardless who the judges are, good singing is good singing. Yes, I have been let down SEVERAL times after the outcome, but I guess my appreciation for talent outweighs the disappointments.

    1. Yeah, good singing is good singing, but when they audition 50,000 and end up with 12 singers, and 3 of them are good, the rest should have never made it on the show, I start to question the viewers who keep coming back.

      Really? You question ME? Why? What is there to question? All you need to know is, I like talent and whatever show I choose to watch the talent is nobody's business but mine. Do you also question the viewers of Basketball Wives, Real Housewives of ANYTHING, Honey Boo Boo, Rupaul's Drag Race, etc? (Don't answer too quickly because YOU'LL be questioning yourself as well, ma'am.)

      Again, EACH YEAR there has been enough talent for ME to appreciate (for example, Paris, Adam Lambert, Chris Daughtry, Elliot Yamin, Melinda Doolittle, Crystal Bowersox). I wouldn't have been able to HEAR them anywhere else, so I don't regret the time I've spent watching it. Hale, I don't vote ANYWAY. . .

  4. I like the fact that they decided to put a Country singer on the panel. I don't care for Country music (at all) but they get quite a few contestants that sing those songs and it will be good to have somebody to critique them. As far as Nicki goes, I don't even know what genre she is supposed to be in...Rap, Pop, Reggae, Fake, Crazy???? It's very hard for me to even take her seriously as an artist. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure any of us can listen to someone sing and be able to tell if it sounds good enough or not, but to get paid MILLIONS of dollars to judge people, I think you should have more credentials and time under your belt first. Everyone else has been on the seen for "X" amount of years and she just showed up yesterday (with a plastic body and limited talent). I haven't watched since Fantasia myself, and was barely watching then, and I think that was about 10 years ago. Smh Idol must be getting very desperate to reach out to young people, or something, cause I don't get it. Maybe she is there for comedic value?

  6. Will Randy once again be the lowest paid judge. That is so embarrassing. He needs to leave. He has that other show "America's Best Dance Crew".
