New Movie Alert - Tyler Perry: "Alex Cross"

This isn't a Tyler Perry flick, but apparently he's made enough connects in the industry to get cast - or maybe the director realized Madea has a huge following and is trying to capitalize on that.

Either way, this feels like a Denzel movie, but I'll take Tyler in it (minus that bad hairdo). It really looks good.

    1. I'm with you, I love the Alex Cross series and have been a fan since the first one Along Came A Spider. And being that Alex was played by Morgan Freeman, I was sorely disappointed due to the fact that Alex should have been in hes 30's/40's. But of course we know Mr. Freeman is an excellent actor. I was just disappointed because I follow the books.

Anyway, can't wait to see how Perry pulls this one off.

  6. Where is Morgan Freeman??? He's played in the other Alex Cross movies. I don't want to see Madea playing this roll.

    1. I read an article about James Patterson and he did say he wasn't happy with M. Freeman playing Alex Cross...that's when I first heard Tyler Perry would be replacing him.

    2. I am very sorry to hear that James Patterson did not want Morgan Freeman. I proably will not bother to see thi, since I have been saying for yrs "I hope they make some more Alex Cross movies before Morgan is no longer able to do the role". Nobody but him could pull it off for me.
