For a while, I assumed that Sheree (Will Smiff's ex-wife) had decided to keep her son as "normal" and away from the drama and lunacy that is show business. Of course you know Lil Wilma Smiff as the little girl who is waaay too grown for her true age. There's Jaden, who we love in his flicks, but there's something about him that comes across as arrogant in pictures. Trey, who played sports, went to school and focused on education was the one we thought would get away... until now.
Trey Smiff has decided to become, of all things, a DJ calling himself, "Ace".
Check out his new track with lil Wilma Smiff singing the confusing hook, "I think I can find you somewhere" and little brother Jaden doing the rapping.
Oddly, I liked the song maybe a minute in, I couldn't stand Jaden's rap flow in the beginning though.

I actually liked the rap and the music and the hook. That was pretty nice. However, did Trey make the music? Is he responsible for the track? That is what the video doesn't show... It looks to me like a rap video for Jaden.
ReplyDeleteI said the same thing, "Poor Trey even plays the background in his own $hit" SMH
DeleteLOL @ Trey playing the background in his own $hit. I kind of looked at it as a "team effort."
DeleteI like the hook and the music (the video was OK, too). The rap lyrics could have been a bit tighter, though. And Jaden's voice is a bit annoying, but I think it's because he's going through puberty or something.
All in all, good work.
Trey produced the track... He gets 50% of the revenue right off the back for pub and maybe more if he co-wrote the song. It's the same difference as a DJ Drama or DJ Khaled song. They put the tag. Someone else do the work. They make most of the money. Trey took the smart route!
DeleteAce's mother in on a reality show. She wants to get paid like everyone else. They all are getting paid!
ReplyDeleteYou would think the Smith kids would have better moves. Not impressed!
ReplyDeleteI am so playing this at my next rave
