A Connecticut man is being held without bail in connection with the horrific
abuse of his 9-year-old stepdaughter.
Craig Tracy Williams, 45, of New Haven, was busted last week while he and the
rest of his family were apparently trying to skip town as the little girl was
still in the hospital recovering.
She told cops that Williams beat her because she wasn’t his biological child,
the New Haven Register reported. None of his four biological
children were abused, she said.
But the abuse, which went on for years, went far beyond beatings. Williams
allegedly handcuffed his stepdaughter to a radiator by her ankle and cut her
with knives.
Assistant New Haven Police Chief Archie Generoso called it “the worst case of
child abuse I’ve ever seen.”
Williams and his wife told cops the little girl ran away from home last week,
and when they found her in a nearby park she was covered with scars and
bruises.
She initially said her stepbrothers beat hear up, but later admitted that it
was her stepfather, who coached her to lie about her injuries.
When asked about her scars, she said “the one on her chest was when her
stepfather used a little knife. The one on her back was when her stepfather used
a big knife,” according to Generoso.
Last Saturday, cops found him at a gas station with his wife and four kids,
apparently getting ready to flee, and charged him with second-degree assault and
risk of injury to a minor. He may face additional charges.
Handcuffs and a machete were seized from his home after the arrest. His wife
was not charged.

Charges should be brought against the mama as well. She knew what was going on & didnt get her child out of the situation.
