I'll be voting November 6th, the same way I have since my first eligible presidential election - which was Clinton going against Bush 1. And we KNOW how that turned out!
I'm #VoteReady <--- look at me using a hashtag, this aint twitter! lmao
Well, I REFUSED to watch the debates. I watched a little bit of the last one but I quickly turned the channel, as I couldn't stand all of the arguing and interrupting and all the whining about not getting enough time to speak. This is not Basketball Wives, so I expect more from the Pres and the Presidential candidate. The bottom line is, I'm voting for Obama, not that I think he's done such a fantastic job, but the alternative is scary.
I understand that the Republicans' mission is to make Obama a one-term president and they fight him to the core on any and everything, but I'm still not impressed with his job in office during his first term. Hopefully, if he wins, he'll kick azz the next go-round.
I totally agree! He could have used the right to use executive order. Google Clinton and see how many times congress said no and how many times Clinton issued executive orders... Yeah, look at him now.
Romney is the lair. He is wishy washy. All of a sudden he cares about the American people but just months ago he didn't care about 47% of us. He tried going back to questions that was asked and answered. Cheated bastard. Being a President is not an easy job. Pres Obama did what he could and accomplished most of his promises. He can't swing his magic bat and undo what Bush had done in 8 years. It is so unfair. He is doing his best. Canada is looking pretty good if that dog face becomes President which I doubt.
Trouble, I agree with you; it was sking too much of the Pres to undo in four years what Bush did in eight. In fact, people really looked for Obama to Heal the World in his first two years in office.
I'm not one who expected that from Obama. But, I expected more than what he's done. Again, it could have been the work of the Repubs, keeping his hands tied.
Why I"m giggling, is because while Romney touts "Massachusetts, Massachusetts" he is actually behind the POTUS by 15 Points on the Massachusetts' Poll! What's up with that?
I'm a white man who's been working in food service, mainly in the fast-food sector, for the past twenty-plus years. I've seen so much more in the business, more than many dimwits out there can comprehend.
Yet, as an astute observer of humanity (yeah, that comes with the territory - you can read into the way customers behave; it all forms into a pattern if you focus real hard.)
I'd have to state this one singular and simple statement: Romney's full of shit.
Obama's been trying hard to follow up on his 2008 campaign promises, even exceeding a few, in the past four years. I'm amazed at how much progress he'd made in meeting these goals, despite the extreme resist-and-shift-the-blame tactics of the republicans, which intensified even more after 2010 - thanks to the brainwashed sheep of the Tea Party.
Don't forget the voter apathy among the democrats, liberals, and everyone else who'd have prevented this with their anti-republican votes. Only if they weren't too lazy to get off their asses and went to the voting booths back then.
I voted then, and you have no idea how BETRAYED I felt by my fellow liberal/democrat-leaning voters that fateful year. I hope not to feel this way after November 6.
Placing blame aside, we have the opportunity now to actually make our vote count... and save our democracy by not allowing Romney and his republican buddies destroy what's left of our constitution.
It's all about the people, and the people are you. Your fates are in your hands, right now. Why vote for the candidate that believes that corporations share YOUR rights as persons?
Be careful of giving the fox the keys to the henhouse. He may talk smoothly, but he does not have any mercy for these whom he can devour.

ReplyDeleteI was working in Mass when he was there... they did not like him one bit. They really hated the medical care policy he placed in Mass.
