"Real Housewives" Stylist Has No License to Do Hair in Georgia?

So, they say Real Housewives of Atlanta's resident weave preparationist, Derek J has been operating all of this time without a license to do hair. Didn't he know the queens would see him on TV and rip him to shreds?

 

Speaking with blogger Michelle of "Straight From The A", Derek goes on to try to explain why he's doing hair illegally.

 

Michelle fell for it because he gave away a free "styling" to her readers last week. Obviously that bit of generosity worked because she was real easy on him, when she probably would have ripped him to shreds had he not suspected that this story was about to hit the streets and decided to make friends with the bloggers beforehand. They call it prevenge.

 

Anyway, read Michelle's sugarcoated response to the story of the man who should get life for piling all of those wigs on tops of Kim "Cigarette" Zolciak's head:

 

He also told me that he considers himself a “traveling stylist” due to the fact that he is often booked to travel around the world with his celebrity clientele. That being said, if Derek was forced to be licensed in every state he did hair, he’d probably be training for decades.

 

While there is some truth to the story of him not be licensed (in the State of Georgia), Derek grew tired of the insinuations surrounding his craft and proceeded to get the Georgia licensing issue resolved months ago.

 

Lawrence on the other hand, who fell out of former “housewife” Sheree Whitfield’s good graces after her hair began to thin and shed under his care, has yet to respond.

 

However it’s true that he’s apparently barred from doing hair in the state of Georgia until March 31, 2014.
