Former NFL star Terrell Owens is desperately looking to re-join the league, after being released by the Seattle Seahawks earlier season. He wants back in, and made a pitch via Twitter this week to the New York Jets.
I'll bet he regrets his policy to not give men his autograph now. A stupid, personal policy since his dumb a$$ is a sports figure and, in most cases, the MEN are the ones who keep your a$$
The Jets lost to the Houston Texans during Monday Night Football (October 8), thanks to three of their top receivers being out with injuries, so T.O. made a plea to hopefully become their next option.
"Hey JETS!!! I'm available! I'm ready, willing & able! Call my agent @jordanwoy & let's make it happen," Owens wrote (@TerrellOwens).
At press time, it's unclear if the Jets management have entertained Owens' offer. While Owens is definitely one of the greatest wide receivers in NFL history, he hasn't played since 2010. In fact, he last caught a regular-season NFL pass for the Cincinnati Bengals in 2010, and has received very little interest since the Seahawks released him in August.
"There's no way the receivers the Jets put on the field last night are better than Chad Johnson, Terrell Owens, or Plaxico Burress," ESPN's Cris Carter said on the "Mike and Mike" show Tuesday morning.

To Chris Carter: they might not be, but they are a helluva lot better than dealing with Jock Strap Diva's on a daily issue.
ReplyDeleteJets do not deal with drama so if it is not in the works for him to come to The Big Apple, they may not accept TO.
ReplyDeleteJust wishing the best for T.O.
ReplyDeleteHope this will be a lesson to other to have some plans after football.
