Kevin Hart's "Real Husbands of Hollywood" Ratings Gold for BET!

Kevin Hart’s “Real Husbands of Hollywood” is the No. 1 new cable sitcom of the season.

The “fake” reality show, which mocks the real-life drama of the “Basketball Wives” and “Real Housewives” franchises, premiered Tuesday night on BET and drew an impressive 4.1 million viewers.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, more people tuned into the cable network series than anything airing on broadcast TV in that 10 p.m. EST timeslot.

The re-air of the premiere at 11 p.m. EST didn’t lose much steam. BET reports that with the additional eyeballs from the second airing, the series garnered 6.5 million total viewers.

Kevin and BET exec, Stephen Hill, took to Twitter to express their elation and gratitude to those who tuned in.

“Thank you VERY much [for] your energy and viewership!!” wrote Stephen. Kevin wrote: “This is HUGE people……thank you! Your support is AMAZING.”

BET’s “Second Generation Wayans” delivered, too. The show about the Hollywood struggles of Damien Dante Wayans and Craig Wayans, premiered at 10:30 p.m. EST and drew in 3.5 million viewers, according to THR.

Sister 2 Sister fans seemed to enjoy the new series.

“It was funny! Love the new twist on the reality concept,” wrote Facebook user Angela Chappelle Brooks about “Real Husbands.”
