The seemingly endless love triangle between singers Chris Brown, Rihanna and Brown's clothing line consort Karrueche Tran has played out in headlines and on Twitter for a while, but now the otherwise unknown beauty is opening up about it in a new interview with VIBE Magazine.

"I've been on a rollercoaster for the past year," Tran told the mag.

She and Brown officially broke up in October, but the wounds are still sore. When asked about whether or not she could sit down with him and Rihanna, she had to think about it. "Emotionally, that would just be way too much," she said. "I'm a very mature person so if the time ever did come where we would need to sit down and talk, I'd do it."

 

Tran is no stranger to the consequences of being involved in such a public situation. She got into a spat with Rihanna on Twitter once before, and Brown and Rihanna have been more than forthcoming lately with Instagram photos of their rekindled romance.

"A lot of people are like, 'don't go on your Twitter, don't read the blogs,'" she said. "I do read my Twitter a lot and I get a mixture of the positive people… and then there's the negative people who are just always negative for no reason."

 

When asked about her happiness, Tran says she was happy in her relationship but isn't anymore.
"It's a lot going on but it could be a lot worse," she said. "And that's how I look at life. I take it for what it is. I move forward, grow from it and at this point, that's what I'm doing."

Now Tran, who is also a best friend to singer Christina Milian, is focused on her clothing line, the female companion to Brown's "Black Pyramid," called "The Kill."

"At the end of the day, he will always be a friend," she said of her relationship
with the singer. "I do care about him and I do love him."
