Beyonce Would Like You to Know That Her Miscarriage Was The Saddest Thing I've Ever Been Through....

If you still don't believe me when I say these insanely "private" celebrities reveal the most personal things about themselves - when it suits them - then I've got a good plot of land in the middle of the Indian ocean I'd like to sell you.

I'm in no way doubting that this was a horrible event for her - it is for a lot of women and being a "star" doesn't take away the hurt. But the problem for me is that when other women go through it, they don't get it a secret until they show up at your house for an Avon party and then tell everyone while all of the women in the  house are in the cusp of buying lotions and wrinkle removers.

Beyonce has an album coming out, she's doing the Superbowl, etc. and to me... she waited until all of that is about to drop (along with the timing of the accompanying HBO documentary) to to talk about it. Just like Michelle Williams revelation that she is depressed right around the time of her single, I'm not impressed.

And to add, "I went home and wrote a song about it... and it's the first song on my album!" was a set-up of epic proportions. Dreadful that you would use that event to pimp albums and have people run out and buy your album to listen to that first song. SMH

Anyway - More pieces of Beyonce's HBO documentary, Life Is But A Dream, have been revealed, weeks before the project's debut.

The 31-year-old shared the details of first learning that she was pregnant, all the way up to the moment she found out that she miscarried. “About two years ago, I was pregnant for the first time,” she said. “And I heard the heartbeat, which was the most beautiful music I ever heard in my life.

“I picked out names, I envisioned what my child would look like…I was feeling very maternal.” Somehow, things went wrong, and during a trip back home to New York she learned of the miscarriage. “I flew back to New York to get my check up—and no heartbeat. Literally the week before I went to the doctor, everything was fine but there was no heartbeat.”

Bey turned to music to help ease the pain. “I went into the studio and wrote the saddest song I've ever written in my life. And it was actually the first song I wrote for my album. And it was the best form of therapy for me, because it was the saddest thing I've ever been through.”

The title of the song has not been revealed.

Last January, the Houston native gave birth to daughter Blue Ivy Carter, and has become noticeably more open with her fans since becoming a mother. After Blue came the launch of her Tumblr page, and the opening of an Instagram account, which she uses to share intimate photos.

This Sunday, Mrs. Carter will headline the Super Bowl half-time show, and held a press conference earlier today where she sang the National Anthem a capella to quiet any doubt behind her vocal abilities, after she was found to be singing alongside a recorded track during President Obama's inaugural ceremony.

  1. This right here...this is why I have NO respect for Beyonce. And I don't believe she gave birth at all. Not for one single half of a second.

  5. It still drives me that after this miscarriage, Mrs. Jay Z then wore the highest heels she could find during her pregnancy with Baby Blue. Just reminding everybody about this fact.

    1. You would think someone who miscarried would find a seat and chill during their next pregnancy. This lady was dancing and traveling around the world.

  7. Okay I think everyone is missing the obvious . 1) she heard the heartbeat......which tells me she was far along than a month, 2) two years ago I done remember seeing Beyonce pregnant she was all over every magazine event everywhere there was a camera she was in it. I still don't believe she was carrying blue ivy, she's naturally a big girl ( without the surgery and Lipo) and u mean to tell me the only thing that grew on her was her wigs. She/her camp are such media whores how come she didn't do the famous magazine cover like all the other popular stars? She enjoys the spotlight too much decline.

  8. I agree with all of you. She should be home taking care of that baby which clearly isn't her's, and give the spotlight to someone else with real talent like Jennifer Hudson/Jasmine Sullivan/Monica Brown..those are the few that can sing way better than her with class!!

  9. Horrible publicity for Beyonce. She should think of other promotional scheme or tactics.

  10. Wow Beyonce doesn't need to use the fact that she had a miscarriage for fame. Beyonce has established herself as an artis long before dating or marrying Jay or motherhood she got her own enough said.
