There Will NEVER Be Another Whitney Houston!

19-Year Old Whitney makes her singing television debut alongside Clive Davis and she killed this. I went back and found this clip because, as I said, I just finished reading Cissy's book and in it she says that during this performance, she was backstage, nervous and when she heard the band play she realized they were slow and not doing what they were supposed to do... so she took over directing the band.

I'll be damned if you don't look at this video and see Cissy's a$$ behind that curtain directing her a$$ off! LOL Straight comedy!

  2. She was absolutely beautiful. I could listen to her sing all day. I remember as a kid, when I first saw her video "Good Love" I was so mesmerized. Shoot I wish I had a voice like hers but God gave me over talents.

    I miss Whitney. Continue to rest peacefully.

  3. Miss Pearl...I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!! And, I just finished reading Cissy's book...it was sad yet FUNNY as hell.....I remember her telling this story...and dammit there she is....straight COMEDY.....LMAO
