My how the mighty have fallen.
First you go from a $49 million dollar NFL contract to reality television, and then to a team equal to Pop Warner for a million smacks, and you can't even keep THAT gig! (bless his heart)
Uncle Sam just gave Terrell Owens 430,000 MORE reasons to find an NFL team (and the likely hood of that happening ain't that good) in the form of a GIANT TAX BILL.
A federal tax lien was filed against the fired wide receiver in February -- claiming T.O. still owes major income tax dollars for the years 2005 ($294,661.71), 2007 ($46,504.00), and 2009 ($97,747.81). All totaled -- he's allegedly in the hole $438,913.52.
As for why the bill's so high -- in those years T.O. was still making big bucks in the NFL playing for the Philadelphia Eagles (under a $49 MIL contract!!!), Dallas Cowboys, and Buffalo Bills.
I would feel sorry for him, but I don't. T.O. is one of the most arrogant players in the game, and his attitude is far from gracious considering his humble beginnings.
I actually like him on the reality show because he has a great sense of humor, but other than that. You get it where you give it... in the a$$.
Now, bye!

Say what U may I still like myself some T.O. Deeply regret that he cant get his act 2gather. Hope others will learn from his experience.
ReplyDeleteHe created the closure on his life...DON'T feel sorry for him at all...Arrogant stay that way with your broke azz!
