LaTocha Scott talks Xscape reunion

Xscape member LaTocha Scott is calling for reconciliation with former member and “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kandi Burrus. Recently, half of Xscape performed at So So Def’s 20th Anniversary Reunion concert in Atlanta without Kandi or Tameka “Tiny” Cottle.

Kandi’s explanation for refusing to reunite with her former group members was due to “unfinished business.” She told Sister 2 Sister, “I don’t feel like all the members of my group, they don’t have love for me like that. To me it’s just a situation where I feel like I don’t want to go to that.”

A few years ago LaTocha accused Kandi of having relations with Jermaine Dupri. She also accused Kandi of breaking up the group, which caused a riff between them.

More recently, LaTocha spoke with Egypt of Hot 97 and made this statement, “My thing is the only unfinished business I can think of is the fact that we didn’t go onto the other albums that we were supposed to do. Other than that, I don’t understand where the unfinished business comes in at. I don’t know what she’s talking about.”

LaTocha also expressed to Egypt that she feels that the negative situation should not be revisited and that they should move forward and reunite for the fans. She says, “I want to move forward. I want to see 20 years, you know what I’m saying? Let’s get out of self and let’s think about what we did for music.”
